Fancy Fonts Keyboard App
Fancy Fonts is a font keyboard for your phone. Pick a style above the keys and every letter you type comes out in it, in any app: Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp, Discord or your messages. It has the 87 styles of this site's fancy text generators and gives the same results.
Coming soon to the App Store.

What it does
Keyboard
Type in a style in any app, with nothing to copy and paste. Each key shows its letter in the style you picked, and the globe key goes back to your usual keyboard. Password, email and web address fields get plain letters.
Fonts
Your text in all 87 styles, such as Script, Bold, Fraktur, Double-Struck, Circled, Small Caps and Upside Down. Tap one to copy it, filter by name or by words such as "cursive", and pin your favorites to the top.
Collections and counts
The styles this site picks for Instagram, TikTok, Discord, X, WhatsApp and Facebook, for game names, and for cute, aesthetic, gothic and cursed looks. Each style shows its length against that platform's limit, counted the way the platform counts it.
Create
Build a name from a letter style, a frame, a line and the spacing, or shuffle for a new combination, and save the ones you like. Invisible spaces help in games that reject spaces in names.
Effects
Zalgo text with an intensity and marks above, through and below each letter, Remove Zalgo, and Plain Text, which turns styled text back into ordinary letters, as the Unicode to Text Converter does.
Symbols
Hearts, stars, flowers, arrows, frames, lines, kaomoji, numbers and invisible characters. Tap one to copy it or add it to your text.
More features
- Style one word: select part of your text and the styles apply to it alone, so one line can mix styles
- Hold a style to see its alphabet and copy single letters
- Notes on each style: one that may show as boxes on some phones says so, and the styles screen readers can read as words are marked
- Android: pick Fancy Fonts in another app's text selection menu to restyle the selected text, or share text to the app
- 14 languages, light and dark themes, and home screen shortcuts to each tab
- Works offline, with no account, no ads and no tracking
Privacy
Everything happens on your device. The app and its keyboard have no internet access, keep nothing you type and learn nothing from it, and on iPhone and iPad the keyboard never asks for Full Access. Your text is left out of cloud backups.
Changelog
- 1.0.0 - The first release: the site's 87 styles and its collections, character counts for each platform, styling part of your text, Create, Effects, Symbols, and a keyboard that types in a style on Android and iOS without internet access or Full Access. On Android, Fancy Fonts in other apps' text selection menu and text shared in from other apps. 14 languages, light and dark themes, and home screen shortcuts

Fancy Fonts Keyboard App
Fancy Fonts is a free app for Android, with iPhone and iPad coming soon, that styles text with Unicode characters that look like bold, cursive, bubble and other letters, so the style stays when you paste it into a bio, a name, a post or a message. Its font keyboard types in those styles in any app, and the app has the same styles, collections and counts as this site's font pages, with Create for names, Effects for zalgo and plain text, and a library of symbols and kaomoji. Everything works offline, on your device.
How do I turn on the Fancy Fonts keyboard?
On Android, open your keyboard settings and turn on Fancy Fonts, then in any app tap the keyboard button in the navigation bar and pick it. On iPhone and iPad, open Settings, tap Keyboards and turn on Fancy Fonts, then hold the globe key in any app and pick it. The app's Keyboard page has a button for each step. Pick a style above the keys and type; the globe key goes back to your usual keyboard.
Does the keyboard see what I type?
It sees each key you press, as every keyboard must, to type the styled letter. It has no internet access, keeps nothing you type and learns nothing from it. Android shows a warning for every keyboard that is not built in, and on iPhone and iPad the keyboard never asks for Full Access.
Is it available for iPhone?
Fancy Fonts is on Google Play for Android phones and tablets now. The iPhone and iPad version is in review with Apple, and this page will link it once the App Store lists it.
How do fancy fonts work?
They are not fonts but Unicode characters that look like styled letters: bold and script letters from the mathematical alphabets, circled and squared letters, small capitals and others. Because they are characters, the style stays when you paste the text into a bio, a name, a post or a message. The same styles are on this site's font pages, such as the Bold Text Generator and the Cursive Text Generator.
Where can I use the styles?
In most places that take text: Instagram names, bios and captions, TikTok nicknames and bios, Discord display names, posts on X, WhatsApp messages and Facebook posts and comments. Usernames and handles (the part after @) take only plain letters, digits and a few symbols, and Facebook usually rejects styled letters in a profile name.
Why do some styles show as boxes?
A phone or computer draws a box or a question mark for a character it has no font for, so the text looks right to you and broken to someone else, most often on older phones. The styles most likely to do this say so under their preview. Bold, italic, script and the other mathematical styles are the safest choice for a name other people will see.
How is Fancy Fonts different from the Fancy Fonts page in Convert Case?
The Convert Case app has a Fancy Fonts page with the 66 styles of the Unicode Text Converter. The Fancy Fonts app has every style on the site's font pages, 87 in all, and adds the keyboard, the collections and counts for each platform, Create, Effects and Symbols. Install both, or only the one you need.
How much does it cost?
Fancy Fonts is free, with no ads, no account and nothing to unlock.
