How do I reverse the order of words?
Set Reverse to Word order. The words are put in reverse order but each one is still spelled normally, so "the quick brown fox" becomes "fox brown quick the". Each line is handled separately, and the spacing between words is kept. Choose Each word for the opposite effect, "eht kciuq nworb xof", where the words stay in place and only their letters are reversed.
What does each Reverse setting do?
Here is "Hello world, how are you?" with "See you soon." on a second line, run through each setting:

Punctuation counts as part of the word next to it, so in Word order the comma stays on "world," and the question mark on "you?".
What is a palindrome, and how do I check one?
A palindrome is a word or phrase that reads the same backwards as forwards, such as "racecar", "level" or "never odd or even". To check one, paste it in with Reverse set to Whole text and compare the result with what you typed: a single word such as "racecar" comes back unchanged.
Phrases are judged on their letters alone, ignoring spaces, punctuation and capitals. "never odd or even" reversed is "neve ro ddo reven", which only matches once the spaces are taken out, so remove them first with the Whitespace Remover set to Remove all whitespace, and the reversed text is identical: "neveroddoreven".

Does reversing text work with emojis and special characters?
The tool reverses the order of all characters in your text, including emojis, punctuation, and Unicode symbols. However, some multi-codepoint characters (like certain emojis made up of multiple Unicode sequences joined together) may not display correctly when their internal order is reversed. Standard letters, numbers, and most common symbols reverse without any issues.
What is the difference between reversed text and mirrored text?
Reversed text flips the character order so "Hello" becomes "olleH," but each letter keeps its original shape. Mirrored text goes further by also replacing each letter with a horizontally flipped Unicode counterpart, so the output looks like a true mirror reflection where even the individual characters appear reversed.
